Breakfast

The Spoon is one of our favorite places to eat after church on Sundays. Our favorites are Parkers Omelette and the TMC wrap.

We love the Palermo family and Oasis! Be sure to try the Incredible Potatoes and Melissa’s baked goods.

Charming downtown brunch spot housed in a restored railway depot. Their variations of omelettes and benedicts are delicious, and the elderflower cucumber mimosa is superb.

Two words, “Come hungry!” This traditional Amish eatery is known for hearty, homestyle cooking a la the Amish Skillet and Country Benedict. Before you leave, pick up a slice of their famous pie to enjoy later!

New locations are popping up coast to coast, but the original is right here in Sarasota! The Floridian French Toast and the Chile Chorizo Omelette are yummy.

Lunch

Libby’s (and now Isaac’s) favorite neighborhood haunt when they are in Sarasota! Joe and the Southside staff make everyone feel like family. Libby’s go to sandwiches are the Southsider and the famous chicken salad, and Isaac’s favorites are the Italian and the Cuban. Save room for homemade gelato for dessert!

Heading to the beach? This sandwich shop is the best lunch spot on Siesta! Our favorite order is the Surfer!

Fresh, local seafood that can’t be beat! Try the Snapper Melt, any and all Grouper dishes, and the Steamer Pot. They are also open for supper!

Just north of St. Armand’s Circle, Old Salty Dog is one of the best spots for dockside dining (yes, you can also arrive by water!) Grab an order of conch fritters, a Salty Dog, and enjoy the view of Sarasota Bay.

Best BBQ in SRQ! Make sure to try the edamame succotash with Nancy’s famous “Boston Butt.”

Dinner

The “Gem of Spanish Restaurants” is an understatement! For lunch, order the 1905 salad and Cuban combo, then enjoy exploring St. Armand’s Circle. For supper, share a pitcher of Sangria de Cava and Paella a la Valenciana, then take a moonlit stroll on Lido Key beach.

A Devitt family favorite that has something for every taste! The Blue Cheese chips… you’ll thank us later!

Tucked away between the galleries of Burns Court, Owen’s has some of the best seafood in the city! Start off with Hot Crab Dip and Bloody Mary Oyster Shooters, then, the Low Country Boil.

Waterfront choose your own adventure! There is often live music on the casual Blue Sunshine Patio on the marina. For a more formal evening, head upstairs to the main dining room.

What’s in a name? Local oysters are the house specialty, and it shows!

Simple, delicious Mediterranean dishes! The Mousaka and Fish Plaki are our favorites.

Perfect steak, every time! Order a gorgonzola salad to start, and ask if they have “the bacon” for dessert.

Watering Holes

It’s always island time at this casual bayfront tiki bar! Watch for dolphins and manatees while sipping a rum runner.

Stunning views of Sarasota Bay from the top of The Westin.

Take in the Sarasota skyline from the top of Art Ovation Hotel.

A Southside Village staple! Great beverage selection and delicious food (the peanut butter pie is top knotch.)

Upbeat bar in the heart of downtown Sarasota.

Eclectic, under the radar bar and eatery. Hidden entrance off Main Street.

Cool off and enjoys classic frozen favorites (Siesta Village and St Armand’s are our favorite locations.)
