The Ringling & Ca'd'Zan

The Ringling Museum and Ca’d’Zan – The former home of John and Mable Ringling, owners of the Ringling Brother’s Barnum and Bailey Circus. They left their estate and world renowned collection of art to the people of Florida. Be sure to visit the Rubens gallery, Mable’s Rose Garden, and the circus museum during your visit.

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens

Originally the home of William and Marie Selby, today, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is a lush oasis on the bayfront. In addition to hosting international art exhibits and educational opportunities, Selby is a world leader in research and conservation of tropical plants including bromeliads and orchids.

Watersports

Located in downtown Sarasota on Island Park, Bayfront Yachtworks offers boat, paddleboard, kayak, and jetski rentals on Sarasota Bay. Prefer to head out to the beach, or even try parasailing? Siesta Key Watersports has you covered.

Mote Marine Laboratory

Mote Marine Laboratory is internationally renowned for their contributions to shark and coral research and conservation efforts. Explore the touch pools and hands-on exhibits at the aquarium on Sarasota Bay. Boat tours are also available.
